DNS Alpha FR fabric combines flame resistance, durability, and elasticity in a combination previously unmatched on the market. The blend of cotton, CORDURA®, and elastane is flame-retardant treated and withstands up to 100 wash cycles.

The proven GORE-TEX® membrane provides durable weather protection while maintaining high breathability. DNS Alpha integrates it into selected weather protection layers to efficiently transport moisture outward while reliably protecting the wearer from wind and rain.
Outlast®
Technology for active temperature management. The material absorbs excess heat, stores it, and releases it again when required. This maintains a consistently balanced body climate, even during changing temperatures or intense physical activity.

The DNS Alpha System Fit is based on a sizing system consistently applied across every layer. It uses standard apparel sizes from XS to 4XL, clearly defined within the System Fit and standardized across all product lines.
Every size represents a precisely defined fit across all product groups. This means that once a user has determined their size, it remains consistent throughout every apparel layer — whether base layer, insulation layer, or weather protection layer.
This system reduces ordering errors, simplifies replenishment, and ensures that all layers function seamlessly together. The so-called onion-layer principle is therefore functionally supported: every layer complements the next without bulk, friction, or restriction of movement.
In addition, the sizing system is coordinated with material selection and construction design to ensure consistent comfort and reliable functionality across every configuration.
